Geeta Mera Naam is a 1986 Indian Bollywood film directed by Ravikant Nagaich, written by Gopi Kishan Jain, starring Raj Babbar and Rati Agnihotri. The film was remade in Telugu in the same year as "Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu" with Sobhan Babu and Jayasudha reprising their roles. The film released on 25 December 1986 in India. It is an action drama movie portraying how one man's revenge can destroy many lives. Raja (Raj Babbar), along with his girlfriend Geeta/Geetu (Rati Agnihotri) are appointed by the police to go undercover in a place called Sarfarazpur, where several local drug lords are holding a drug-convention. The idea is to find out as much as they can about the drug mafia and eventually capture them, so as to put an end to the dangerous illegal activities. His father, Inspector Mahadev Prasad (Nazir Hussain) escorts them from city, where Raja and Geeta check into a motel under assumed names. The two of them go tap dancing for a living and have been given a secret mission by the Police Department. They are trying to infiltrate the drug-mafia of Sarfarazpur. Raja wants to get even with the drug lord Gautam (Gulshan Grover) who had killed his sister some while ago while she was on her way to meet him. Geeta is initially reluctant, but soon gets involved in this dangerous game where there are no winners; only losers. She starts falling in love with Raja and starts falling for him with his romantic care towards her. While at the inn, they confront the local drug lord Gautam with evidence of his illegal activities, but he evades them after firing shots aimed at them. Raja and Geeta escape unharmed with the help of the local police. Then they enter a disco where Gautam is present along with his friends Jai (Suresh Oberoi) and Ram Babu. Ram Babu is a corrupt city mayor who has been providing shelter to the drug-lords in return for money. Local police inspector Shekhar (Pinchoo Kapoor) is also on their payroll. Gautam is constantly being tailed by the local police, but evades them. Gautam kidnaps Geeta. Raja meets with Inspector Shekhar, who was also his old friend. Both of them are on Gautam's payroll, with each paying half of what they were getting from the city mayor Ram Babu. It is now that Raja realizes that it was Gautam whom he had shot in the face with a pistol after he fired at him with his rifle, during an earlier mission which went wrong due to Geeta's presence in their mission. cfa1e77820
