Igre Osveta Besnog Pileta 16 This is a blog that talks about the 13th century Croatian epic poem, "Igrepod." A poem that tells of the fall of King Zvonimir and his kingdom to the Turks. The poem is divided into four sections, with each section outlining a different time period in which different characters attempt to reclaim their country from the rule of the Turks. The first section is set during King Zvonimir's lifetime and talks about his final days before he died. One day, he spends his time playing with a group of friends and eating pastries when they hear rumors that nearby there was battle going on. This causes them to get ready for war and help their country. The second section talks about the rise of the Turks and how they managed to get their hands on King Zvonimir's kingdom. The third section deals with a man named Ban Pile who gathers up an army in order to overthrow the new Turkish rule by getting rid of the new Sultan and his army. He and his men manage to kill Sinan, the sultan, and this causes their new king, Almalich, to flee from his country. After this happens, Ban Pile gives power back to King Zvonimir's wife who is now once again in charge of her kingdom. The last section is set during the Ottoman wars of the conquest of Europe. This describes how King Zvonimir was offered an alliance between both countries before he finally dies. Poem "Besnog pileta" is a celebration of an epic poem about the fall of Croatian kingdom to Turkish rule, which tells of Zvonimir's death, his wife's submission to the Turks, and her death at their hands, which was said to have been caused by taking too much milk. The Middle Ages in Istria were known for fine dining and an interest in folklore and fiction writing. There are records of the epic poem "Igrepod" dating back to 14th to 17th century. There are also two paintings that show how the Istrian people dressed during this time period, which can be found at the National Gallery of Ancient Art in Rome. There is also a statue of Ban Pile, who is seen standing with an axe in his hand. There are many places that this epic poem talks about that relate to Istria or to Croatia as a whole. These places include Zvonimir's palace, the place where his wife was killed, and other areas near Istria at sites like Nin and Opatija (which is now known as "Opatija Riviera"). These are the main locations that are discussed throughout this epic poem. There are also many places mentioned in the poem that do not relate to Istria or Croatia, but instead refer to far off places like Venice or Cyprus. There are many other characters in "Igrepod" who help these main characters, but Ban Pile is among the most important because he is portrayed as a man of action. Ban Pile along with his men manage to kill Sinan, the new sultan of Turkey who took over Zvonimir's kingdom. Revelation of King Zvonimir's downfall can be summarized into three different events. cfa1e77820
